Responsibilities

The Youth Support Partner’s primary purpose is to provide support, guidance, mentoring, advocacy, and empowerment to the youth assigned to their caseload.

Overview of Responsibilities:
  • Build one-on-one working relationships with youth to identifying and articulating their priority needs.
  • Mentor youth and provide opportunities for growth and leadership.
  • Provide offsite resources such as recreation programs and education/employment support.
  • Works closely with the WRAP facilitator to support positive outcomes for the youth and family.
  • Maintain all required documentation.
  • Help youth develop and achieve the goals they have set for themselves.
  • Establish and maintain relationship with community partners.

Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services field and one year of experience working with target population
  • Associate degree in human service field with 2 years of experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth
  • Must have lived experience as a parent/caregiver of a child who has received services (clinical/preventative services, DJJ, educational services, etc.)
  • A valid driver’s license, at least 3 years of driving with a driver’s license and clean driving record are required. All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.
Salary:$32,000-$36,000
