Responsibilities
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Create safe, positive, long-lasting, and collaborative relationships with assigned youth ages 4-18 years old, their families, teachers, and other external stakeholders
- Teach important, age-appropriate life skills such as personal responsibility, completing chores, positive relationships, and more
- Ensure activities in the school and community environment are in alignment with the program’s key areas of focus: making good choices, healthy social and emotional development, plans and skills for the future, problem-solving, self-determination, and more
- Ensure documentation of outings, hours served, contacts with families, teachers, youth, and others are properly recorded and meet quality and regulatory standards
- Participate in professional learning opportunities and required ongoing training related to the position
- Participate in bi-weekly team meetings and one on ones with supervisor as scheduled
- Be culturally-competent and trauma-informed

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field, and 2+ years’ experience working with young children
- OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, with an Associate's degree.
- A valid driver’s license, minimum of 3 years driving experience and clean driving record. All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.
