Responsibilities

The therapist position is a foundational component of the program’s overall successful team and is responsible for providing individual and group therapy services for up to 8 youth in care.

The therapist will work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of direct care staff, rec therapist and others to ensure each youth is receiving high-quality, trauma informed care.  

Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree in a human services/psychology/social work-related area of study, plus an active full or provisional license to practice therapy in North Carolina (LPC, LMFT, LCSW).
  • This is an ideal position for clinicians looking for experience and exposure to complex adolescents, and who are interested in being trained and certified in evidence-based practices
  • A valid NC driver’s license, at least 3 years of driving with a driver’s license and clean driving record are required. All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.
