Reporting to the Chief Facilities Officer, they will help lead the team of maintenance techs that provide ongoing oversight of our incredible facilities.  As a player/coach, this influencer will drive daily operations to ensure maintenance requests are handled, subcontractors/vendors are effective, and the team is operating on all cylinders!

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Supervisor position drives the success of the maintenance team by providing hands-on support to the team, executing improvement plans and maintaining the upkeep of the agencies buildings and grounds.  


Overview of Responsibilities:
  • Oversees and coaches maintenance tech team (2), along with performing basic maintenance functions, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, grounds keeping, etc.
  • Responsible for scheduling general maintenance projects for all buildings, grounds and fleet vehicles
  • Responsible for making decisions consistent with TCFF facilities safety standards and operational guidelines
  • Works with the Chief Facilities Officer, vendors, subcontractors, and various technicians to ensure timely maintenance, repairs and procurement of needs related to facilities
  • Develop and maintain systematic schedule that accommodates long range plans for the ongoing maintenance of all buildings, grounds and vehicles.  This includes overseeing the completion of daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance plan.
  • Responsible for all emergency on-call support and schedules. This includes staffing the call and directing activities of the staff associated with emergency on-call needs.

Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in Maintenance/Facilities (Buildings, grounds, Heat/AC, Plumbing, electrical etc.)
  • A desire to grow and lead others, with demonstrated ability to be a positive influence on the team
  • Must be able to lift 75+lbs on a consistent basis. Also must be able to lift, pull, push, carry, climb, work in and out doors etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • A valid NC driver’s license, at least 3 years of driving with a driver’s license and clean driving record are required. All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.
Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000
