We are looking for Full time and Part-time (up to 25 hrs/week) Family Support Worker to join our Florida Team! The Family Support Worker (FSW) serves as a paraprofessional employee providing transportation services to children under the care and supervision of the State of Florida, supervises parent-child visitations, and support services to the Teen Unit program.

Responsibilities
The Family Support Worker is an entry level position under the direct supervision of Program Management to provide transport, supervision, and support for youth in the Thompson Teen Unit Program. We offer a various schedules!

- Ensure the safety of youth by following all proper regulations, safety recommendations and procedures each day.
- Supervise visitations between child and family members
- Assists Teen Unit program in maintaining records and program documentation for families receiving services.
- Coordinates and executes necessary transportation for children in an efficient and timely manner.
- Obtain records and perform other administrative tasks to support case management teams
- FSW will use their own transportation w/reimbursement of .445/mile.
- We have both Full-time and Part-time (up to 25 hrs/week) positions available.

- High School diploma/GED required; A.A. preferred
- Experience in Human Services or childcare preferred
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have reliable vehicle/transportation
- A valid driver’s license, at least 3 years of driving with a driver’s license and clean driving record are required. All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.
