The supervisor manages the daily operations of a case management unit. Responsibilities

The Supervisor manages the daily operations of a case management unit. The Supervisor identifies and assesses client and family needs with the goal of permanency; supervises case management and support staff; and coordinates service delivery to meet client needs, program goals and contract objectives.

Overview of Responsibilities:
  • Proactive coaching and feedback to ensure the professional development and growth of case managers.
  • Setting programmatic objectives, defining roles, and prioritizing tasks for direct reports
  • Effective proactive communication in all directions (up, down, sideways) to meet program needs.
  • Recruit, interview, and selection of top tier talent for their program staff
  • Conduct thorough and well-documented assessments of direct reports' performance.
  • Proactively address performance issues and replace team members who consistently fall short of delivering on their objectives.
  • Create an open and trusting environment where teamwork and collaboration are valued.
  • Compliance with the agency's Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process to ensure program data and outcome goals are met goals are met.
  • Act as a role model across the organization for other staff regarding professionalism, positivity, and teamwork

Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work from an appropriately accredited institution and 4 years of directly related Case Management experience.
  • Master’s degree in social work from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of directly related Case Management experience
  • Active Florida Certification Board License in Child Welfare Case Management or a closely related field.
  • A valid FL driver’s license, at least 3 years of driving with a driver’s license and a clean driving record are required. All potential job candidates are required to complete an extensive background check. 
Salary Range: $62,000 Level I (requires certification)
                         $64,000 Level II (requires certification and 3+ years of experience as a supervisor)
